Organic cotton

The choice to go with organic cotton in our products came as a natural one for us. Organic means that the cotton is grown without any added pesticides nore artificial fertilizers, which cause damages to the soil and depletion of natural nutrients, in order to achieve a more sustainable and long-term harvest. Instead of artificial fertilizers, the farms use natural fertilizers and they also change the type of crops grown more often in order to both maintain a more nutritious soil and to decrease the attacks from bugs.

The harvests are usually smaller then conventional ones and hence therefore a little bit more expensive.  In order to make organic farming a natural choice for the farmers, consumer behaviour has to shift towards environemntal focus and away from the ware and tare we live in today.

Cotton is today the most sprayed crop in the world. To make one kilo of cotton you need to use one kilo of chemicals! This is not only dangerous for the environment but also for the people working with the cotton.
