Slowmotion was launched in 2008 by Sophia Söderström
and Hanna Johansson. The company, the brand and the
lifestyle concept "A life in Slowmotion" is based on
our values concerningthe environment, ethics and a
sustainable future. The first collection was launch
in January 2009.

Urban thongs was a natural manifestation of this craving
for expressing the sisters lifestyle and culture. Growing
up in a tropical paradise they felt that urban dwellers
needed to be reminded of the simple pleasures in life.

For every pair of shoes you purchase, TOMS Shoes will give
a pair of shoes to a child in a poor country. Since the
start in 2006 the company has given away over 150 000 shoes
to children in Etiopia, South Africa and Argentina. The shoes
they give are produced in the same country as they are given
to, supporting the local industry. TOMS Shoes is an American
company from Santa Monica, California.
